I had thought of acquiring a set in the past, even going to some cookware sales dinners. Certainly such things as the retention of vitamins minerals and taste were essential. The advantage that the surgical stainless steel doesn't leach in to the food like aluminum, or chip off like Teflon was obviously a big plus. It certainly was heavy and also energy saving with low heat cooking was also attractive, but the price for these was steep. I mean really expensive, and so i quietly ate my desert and passed on purchasing.Using the Internet everything has changed a lot. I got to go online and research waterless cookware for myself. I got to see demonstrations and I had reached obtain a whole lot. So I got a set. The set I decided on was a 17 piece set of Vapo Seal waterless cookware. It was the hit of Christmas morning.
After cleaning out the old pots and pans and placing the new set in its place of honor in your kitchen cabinet, my spouse lectured me with regards to the differences between waterless cookware and the regular stuff. I realize a lot of men choose to swagger inside the kitchen occasionally and show what they can do. A lot more use a grill as their cooking method of choice. I at the same time, have not been very good at it and in all honesty, I must say i had no desire to be. But there I was searching for a pan to work with and deciding on the waterless cookware pan because because it was low heat cookware, if I kicked the temperature up on high it would cook even faster…right?
Well I discovered that it doesn’t actually work like that. I wasn’t cooking anything fancy just beans and franks. You know the way people say "a watched pot never boils"? Well a unwatched one boils fast and a unwatched one that is waterless cookware boils really fast. One minute I’m putting the lid on it and cranking up the heat and the next I had a smoke detector going off, beans everywhere and a burned mess on my hands. The great thing is the pot wasn’t destroyed. I simply followed the cleaning instructions and the burned pot was brought back to looking just like new. In fact my spouse won't ever know about it unless she reads this post. Through this experience I learned my lesson, stick to the microwave and leave the stove to the real cooks.
